I think we were all pretty excited yesterday when it was announced that the Titans had agreed to a contract extension with DE DaQuan Jones. He is a solid role player that was really starting to play well when he got hurt last year. Jones is such a good guy to have as part of the rotation.

I love that Jon Robinson is front-loading these deals. It allows him to pay the guys while the have the salary cap room and allows for them to be cut late in the deal without much dead money if their production falls off.
This has been a great free agency period. The Titans have really been able to fill all of their needs with the exception of a pass rusher, but we knew they wouldn’t be able to find that guy in free agency. They have a ton of flexibility with their first round pick.

Signing bonus: $4M
Base salaries, 2018- $4M (gtd), 2019- $6M (gtd), 2020- $7M.
Incentives: $500K in sack bonuses per year.
