2018 NFL free agency: Titans re-sign DaQuan Jones

New, comments

Another solid piece back in the fold.

Jon Robinson continues to get it done. Jim Wyatt announced that the Titans have agreed to a multi-year deal with DE DaQuan Jones. This says everything you need to know about Jones:

This isn’t the type of signing that is going to get national headlines, but you absolutely cannot have enough guys like Jones on your roster. Jones was really starting to play well last season before suffering a torn biceps injury that ended his year.

The Titans selected Jones in the 4th round of the 2014 draft. It took a little bit for him to come into his own, but he had 3.5 sacks in 2017 when his season was cut short. Teams will have to respect the Titans defensive line that features Jones and Jurrell Casey. It is good to keep some continuity there.

Robinson has turned in another nice class of free agents. This team is going to have the most talent from top to bottom that it has had in a very long time.
