The Titans made WAVES yesterday in Free Agency, getting “commitments” from Malcolm Butler and Dion Lewis both formerly of the Patriots. Malcolm Butler gives the Titans one of the best secondaries in the NFL, rounding out a group that includes Logan Ryan, Adoree Jackson, Kevin Byard, and Jonathan Cyprien. This group should only get better with another year of familiarity as well as Coach Coombs getting his hands on them. These guys unbelievably exciting.
Dion Lewis is an absolute delight running with and catching the football. I cannot wait until this season starts to get him into this offense.
Josh Kline is rumored to be close on a deal with the Titans, which means they need another guard to fill out the offensive line. I hope DaQuan Jones signs a deal soon after.
Cam Wolfe grades the Dion Lewis and Malcolm Butler signings. I think he’s a bit low on Lewis, but it is what it is.
Going forward, another guard along with Kline, re-signing DaQuan Jones, and Ndamukong Suh would be a perfect way to end free agency. Then get an ILB/OLB in the draft and get more pass rushers. JRob has done a tremendous job thus far.
