Avery Williamson has turned down a contract offer from the Titans according to Dianna Russini of ESPN:
Avery Williamson was offered a 4 year, 12 million dollar deal from the Titans. He turned it down. Told the Jets and Dolphins are interested per source. (More background from @CameronWolfe below) https://t.co/7oV0cXZ4Zg

We told you on our Locked on Titans podcast that Williamson would likely test the market. That offer from the Titans tells you they aren’t all that concerned about bring him back into the fold. That is probably because he spent most of his time in coverage doing exactly what he is doing in that picture above....chasing whoever he was supposed to be covering.
I go back to the point that when the Titans only had 1 inside linebacker on the field in 2017 that linebacker was Wesley Woodyard and not Williamson. They drafted Jayon Brown last year pretty much because Williamson couldn’t cover anyone.
It will be interesting to see what the market is for Williamson. The fact that he already #reportedly has 2 teams interested is probably an indication he will end up somewhere else making a lot more money than what the Titans offered.
