Adam Schefter is reporting that the Kansas City Chiefs have agreed to trade Marcus Peters to the Los Angeles Rams:
Chiefs are expected to trade CB Marcus Peters to the Los Angeles Rams, sources tell ESPN. Teams are in final stages of talks and barring an unexpected snag, the trade is expected to be agreed to as early as today.

There hasn’t been a report on compensation yet. That will be interesting to see considering the Chiefs didn’t have much leverage here. It had been widely reported that Peters had issues in the locker room and that KC was trying to deal him.
This deal has interest on a couple of fronts as it pertains to Rams players who have been tied to the Titans through different reports:
- Trumaine Johnson is now likely to hit the market. I’m not sure the Titans are going to be in the market to spend the money Johnson is going to command on the open market, but I still think they will look to add a corner in free agency or later in the draft.
- Since the Rams won’t be using the franchise tag on Johnson, will they use it on Sammy Watkins? Again, don’t know that the Titans would be in the mix for Watkins if he is a free agent, but he has ties to Matt LaFleur.
