The Titans are going to have 3 different avenues to improve this offseason. The draft, free agency, and the trade market. Jon Robinson has been in on a big offseason deal in each of his first two years here. The first one was of course Demarco Murray, and the second, although it was not completed was Brandin Cooks. Gregg Rosenthal believes that the NFL trade market could be booming this offseason. I would love for the Titans to be in on the Marcus Peters market, as I believe you can never have too many elite cornerbacks. Eli Apple would be a good option as well as Kerry Coombs was his college coach and would assumedly be able to get the best out of what has been a bad apple so far.
Bucky Brooks thinks that Sony Michel will be the next RB that will have the NFL buzzing in 2018 as Alvin Kamara did in 2017.
MCM was not fond of Mel Kiper’s mock of Ronald “RoJo” Jones to the Titans. While I do not think that RB is the most pressing need, I think RoJo is a very special RB and would be an excellent fit, and also much more than a complementary piece. So, while I’d rather have a pass rusher, I would be happy with RoJo.
Bill Barnwell has 5 moves for the Titans to make this offseason. I agree with 1, 3, 4, and 5. I don’t think the Titans should re-sign Kline if they can get a better guard (Sitton/Pugh) at a reasonable price. I also don’t think the Titans should re-sign Williamson if they can get Demario Davis. Either way, I wouldn’t be upset if the Titans re-signed both of them as long as they don’t spend too much on either player as I feel they are both extremely limited.
Marc Sessler says that the Titans should sign Jerrick McKinnon this offseason (I agree if we don’t want to spend draft capital) and dump Cassel (YES).
