Mike Mayock 2018 NFL Draft position rankings

What do you think of Mayock’s initial ranks?

Mike Mayock, the man who famously only puts out one mock draft per year on the day before the draft, has released his top 5 rankings at each position heading into the 2018 NFL Combine. I can’t remember how many times Mayock tweaks these rankings in the weeks leading up to the draft. My guess is that he will update them after the combine and then after the majority of Pro Days have been completed.

The 2 biggest positions of interest to me for the Titans are EDGE rushers and running backs. Mayock’s EDGE list looks like this:

1. Bradley Chubb, N.C. State

2. Marcus Davenport, UTSA

3. Arden Key, LSU

4. Harold Landry, Boston College

5. Sam Hubbard, Ohio State

We have seen Davenport, Landry and Hubbard all mocked to the Titans at different points in the last few weeks. It is interesting that he has Landry 4th here. That probably changes based on his health leading up to the draft.

His running back list looks like this:

1. Saquon Barkley, Penn State

2. Derrius Guice, LSU

3. Ronald Jones II, USC

4. Sony Michel, Georgia

5. Nick Chubb, Georgia

I have fallen in love with Michel. It would be so awesome if the Titans could get him in the 2nd.

Go look at Mayock’s other rankings and let me know where you think he is too high or too low on a player.
