It seems like the Titans have needed a receiver for the past 15 years. Probably because they have. For once this year though, that need doesn’t top the list. General manager Jon Robinson added Corey Davis, Taywan Taylor and Eric Decker to the mix last year. The Titans didn’t get a lot of return on those investments, but a new offensive staff could fix all of that.
On today’s show, we’ll discuss the possibility of adding to that receiver room. Could the Titans be in play to add another one or two this offseason? With Eric Decker potentially gone, it’s possible.
Jimmy and I both agree that the Titans are set for 2018 on the outside with Corey Davis and Rishard Matthews, but outside of that — it’s pretty murky. You certainly hope a guy like Taywan Taylor can step up and fill a full time slot role next year, but that’s not a given.
