Titans Podcast: Initial thoughts on Frank Reich to the Colts; Stop mocking a Tight End to the Titans

Plenty of topics on today’s show.

The Indianapolis Colts have hired Frank Reich as their next head coach. Josh McDaniels backed out of an agreement to become the Colts’ head coach last week, sending their search into a tailspin. All things considered, the Colts did pretty well here. We’ll give our first thoughts on the hire of our divisional rival.

Jimmy Garoppolo signed his mega-deal last week after our last episode of the week. That’s obviously a big deal for Marcus Mariota, who is entering the timeframe of getting a new deal. What does Garoppolo’s deal mean for Mariota? Spoiler alert: he’s going to get paid.

Finally, we’ll air some frustrations that we’ve seen around the mock draft world. Mockers need to stop giving the Titans a tight end early. This team (pre-free agency) has too many other obvious needs to fill. Jonnu Smith was a day two pick last year and Delanie Walker isn’t going anywhere yet.
