Titans vs. Colts Inactives: Marcus Mariota officially ruled out for Sunday night

Now confirmed.

NFL: Washington Redskins at Tennessee Titans Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

Titans

With everything on the line, the Titans will have to turn to Blaine Gabbert tonight against the Colts. Marcus Mariota suffered another stinger last weekend against the Redskins, seemingly a continuation of the injury which has plagued him all year. After some positive developments mid-week, Mariota was not seen during pregame warmups. Just minutes ago, the team officially ruled him out.

Multiple reports this morning stated that the injury could affect Mariota longterm if he aggravated it again tonight.

Add Mariota to the long list of key Titans who won’t be participating tonight. Jurrell Casey, Delanie Walker, Jack Conklin, Jonnu Smith and Logan Ryan are all on injured reserve, making the Titans job that much tougher tonight.

Colts

The biggest piece of news for Indianapolis tonight is the absence of starting center Ryan Kelly, who was ruled out on Friday. That’s a big development for this offensive line and something to watch early on.

Starting guard Mark Glowinski will return to the lineup tonight after missing the last two games. Tight end Eric Ebron is good to go tonight after suffering a concussion last Sunday against the Giants.
