Titans News: Ugly Yet Effective

The Titans made it difficult on Sunday, but they did what matters most, and that is win. It keeps their slim playoff hopes alive, as they are a game back in the wild card race, with almost none of the tie-breakers. Thursday night against Jacksonville will be crucial.

The Titans are getting a knack for comeback performances, at least when the game is within reach. Marcus Mariota needed the defense to give him a shot, but they obliged and he followed it up with a good, but lucky final drive to win the game.

The much maligned Malcolm Butler was very good on Sunday, getting a pick to seal the game. Hopefully his play continues against the lowly Cody Kessler on Thursday Night Football.
