Titans roster moves; Logan Ryan to IR, Kenneth Durden promoted

The Titans officially placed Logan Ryan on IR earlier this morning. This is a move that we knew was coming after he announced yesterday that he broke his fibula, but it still sucks. Hopefully he will be ready to go when the Titans open their offseason program.

As we speculated last night on Locked on Titans (listen here) the corresponding move for the Titans was to promote Kenneth Durden from the practice squad. That move just makes the most sense on a short week. Durden has been with the team for most of the season between the 53 and the practice squad.

The team also signed Gimel President to the practice squad. President was with the team in camp before he got injured. He could end up on the active roster before the week is over depending on the health of guys like Sharif Finch and Brian Orakpo. They will need numbers at outside linebacker if those guys can’t go this week.
