Todd McShay 2019 NFL mock draft 1.0

Todd McShay has released his first mock draft (In$ider) of the 2019 “draft season.” The good news for us here is that we haven’t completely crossed over into draft season yet. However, one loss will send us completely across the river. Please be kind to us, Saquon.

McShay has the Titans taking Jachai Polite, EDGE, Florida with the 20th pick in the draft (where the Titans would be picking if the season ended today). His comments:

Derrick Morgan and Brian Orakpo will become free agents in the offseason, and Polite would be an immediate factor for Tennessee with his speed and slipperiness. His 11 sacks tied for sixth in the nation during the regular season. Imagine him book-ending the linebacker corps with 2018 pick Harold Landry?

I will imagine him book-ending the linebacker corps with Landry, Todd. There was a time where I thought there was a good chance that either Morgan or Orakpo would be back in 2019. I don’t think that anymore, thus I would be on board with this pick.

What say you?
