Discuss with a Colts Fan.

Good Afternoon Titans Fans:

I'd like to work up some healthy football discussion in preparation to our game Sunday. This game feels like a playoff game with both teams surging lately and in competition for the Wild Card and Division Title. I'm not here to troll, honestly if I had to pick a team besides the Colts in the AFC South, it'd be the Titans, because I hate the other two, and I don't hate y'all. Couple of questions for MCM:

How do you feel about Mike Vrabel to this point? I remember both teams were shooting for Josh McDaniels before he decided to be prick. Vrabel was tossed into the Colts conversation for HC as well. I remember very clearly not wanting both him and Steve Wilks (yuck). Vrabel's defining trait when being sold to us was he was a "great leader of men," which is nice, but how is he at coaching football. Vrabel was also a prior DC and the Colts were in desperate need of an Offensive minded coach. We love Reich over at our end, it couldn't have worked out better, and Eberflus is pretty popular as the new DC.

How has Harold Landry looked? The Colts could've taken him early in the second, and I was a bit disappointed when we didn't. But now that I see how our second rounders look, I'm very happy. Darius Leonard is a legit DROY candidate and an absolute animal at WILL. Braden Smith, as a rookie drafted to be a guard, has a hold on the starting RT spot and looks to be the future at the position with the Colts O-Line looking like the best in the league right now.

Another draft Question: How's Rashaan Evans? He was on most of our radar as the Colts desperately needed a linebacker. But ultimately we picked much to low to select him and a trade back wouldn't take as that far. We all kind of wanted him to slip to the 2nd.

Where is the Titans Franchise right now? The Colts are year 2 in a rebuild with a new GM who we all love. I think we're ahead of the curve on the rebuild with a ridiculously strong draft class last year and about 125 million in cap space. Oh, and a top 5 QB. It seems to me the Titans are in a similar boat to the Bengals, just average or above average for a few years with no noticeable improvement or regression.

I love Mariota as a QB, I think he's incredibly talented, but the injuries have to be a concern right? Do you think he's durable enough to last 10 more years as the franchise QB? Of course the same could be said of Luck, but Luck finally has an O-line and is playing as well as ever.

I'm looking forward to Sunday. I think this is going to be a great game of two very hot teams playing desperately for a must-win. I expect it to be close. Feel free to ask away at me.

33-27 Colts.
