What if I told you the Titans would sign an offensive player and then go on to score an average of 32 points per game after they signed him? What if I then told you that the Titans released that same player after just 2 games? You would say that is crazy, right?

Well that exactly what happened today as the Titans have released Jalston Fowler and promoted Dalyn Dawkins from the practice squad. This move was pretty obvious after David Fluellen went down with a non-contact injury in the game on Sunday. We still don’t know what the extent of that injury is, but Mike Vrabel already said that Fluellen is out this week.

I liked what I saw from Dawkins in the preseason. He runs angry. It will be interesting to see if they give him any carries because they were clearly planning on working Fluellen into the game plan last week.
