Last night on Locked on Titans (listen here) Terry and I were wondering how many snaps Malcolm Butler played yesterday because we didn’t notice him out there- which is a good thing. Butler played 51 of 66 defensive snaps. He continued to play as the third corner behind Adoree Jackson (64 snaps) and Logan Ryan (61 snaps).

Dion Lewis continues to dominate the running back snaps. He played 49 of 65 snaps. Derrick Henry was in on just 16 snaps with most of those coming in the 4th quarter. I wonder how many of those snaps David Fluellen would have gotten if he didn’t get hurt. Fluellen was getting carries in the first quarter of this game. I’m not sure that has happened before in his NFL career.

Cameron Batson ran as the third receiver playing 36 snaps. It will be interesting to see what kind of run he gets when Taywan Taylor comes back. Batson has played pretty well in his limited opportunities the last 2 weeks.

Mike’s boy, Anthony Firkser, wins the award for most efficient Titan. He played on 2 snaps and had 1 catch for 11 yards.

And finally, Tom Brady only played on 58 of the Patriots 66 offensive snaps because the Titans broke the Patriots will to win with about 7 minutes left to go in the game.
