Report: Rishard Matthews to sign with the Jets who visit the Titans on December 2nd

The quitter has found a new team! Rishard Matthews is reportedly signing with the New York Jets per Adam Schefter. Apparently they were able to look past the fact past that he tried to force his way out in Miami before doing just that in Tennessee. Hopefully, for their sake, it is a short-term deal.

The Jets were thin at wide receiver after letting Terrelle Pryor go last week. Pryor was recovering from a groin injury at the time of his release. Matthews is bound to put up a better game than Jermaine Kearse who torpedoed my Draft Kings lineups on Sunday.

I have no doubt that Matthews will be productive for the Jets if he is healthy. The Titans play the Jets at Nissan Stadium on December 2nd. Hopefully the hometown crowd will give him the reception that he deserves.

The Titans could make that match-up a double revenge game if they brought in Pryor....
