A few things before we look get to the links. Saturday was a really big day for this site. I have been running MCM since 2006. It was just me when I started out. Shortly after that the artist formerly known as August West came on and started doing links. He did did a lot of long suffering work here and on MCM Radio without seeing a playoff win. He reached out on Twitter after the game Saturday night. That was awesome.
Here is some reaction from around the web to the Amy Adams Strunk statement on Mike Mularkey yesterday:
Joe Rexrode says that it is time for Titans fans to accept that Mike Mularkey is the head coach and get behind the team.
This team has had its struggles. But it is playing in the postseason for the first time in nine years. The Tennessee Titans have only advanced past this point twice, en route to the 2000 Super Bowl and 2002 AFC title game. Since this franchise officially joined the NFL as the Houston Oilers in 1970, it has been past this point a total of four times.
Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk says that yesterday’s statement doesn’t necessarily mean that Mularkey will be the coach in 2018:
The presence of a less critical reference to “moving forward” just before the key “moving forward” makes “moving forward” even more vague. And we can only assume that the statement was intentionally vague, aimed at giving the media one less talking point (and at giving Mularkey one less stress point) as the Titans try to get back to the AFC title game for the first time since 2002.
Paul Kuharsky says that it is Mike Mularkey that owes Amy Adams Strunk, not the other way around. The basis of that argument is that she gave him a chance when he had a terrible history as a head coach. I am inclined to agree.
I have some more thoughts on this subject coming up later in the day.
A few housekeeping things:

Our friends over at Breaking T have come up with this shirt celebrating the win over the Chiefs and the heroic performance of our quarterback:
