The Titans have finally officially ruled out DeMarco Murray for Saturday’s game against the Chiefs. We knew he was an extreme long-shot to play. Today it has been made official. It will be Derrick Henry’s backfield for the second straight week. Hopefully he will be able to fix some of the issues that haunted him in the game against the Jaguars.
In other injury news, Quinton Spain was added to the injury report with a lower back issue. Spain hasn’t been great this year, but they need him out there because he is better than Brian Schwenke.
Jonnu Smith and Kalan Reed were both cleared from the concussion protocol. They were able to practice in full again today and will be ready to play on Sunday.
There was no reference to Logan Ryan’s ankle injury at any point this week. That is obviously a big deal for the Titans because they are going to need the secondary at full strength.
