Kevin Byard has been named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this week after picking off Blake Bortles twice on Sunday. That gave Byard 8 interceptions on the season which was tied for the league lead with Darius Slay of the Lions.

Byard has had an believable year, which makes it that much more ridiculous that he didn’t make the Pro Bowl. I usually don’t get fired up about guys missing the Pro Bowl because it is stupid anyway, but this one is really pissing me off. How does he win the fan vote but not get in the game?? Ridiculous!!1 He better get voted first team All Pro.

Byard was also named AFC Defensive Player of the Week after the game against the Browns when he had 3 interceptions.

It would be really awesome to see Byard make another huge play on Saturday to help the Titans advance to the divisional round!
