Today’s theme post on the SB Nation football blogs is asking where the best place to watch the Super Bowl is. I don’t know about you, but I enjoy watching the game. That means I usually end up either watching it at home or at a friend’s house with a small group.
I have done the big party thing before, but there end up being more people there that don’t care about watching the game than that do. That makes it really tough to actually follow the game.
When the Titans were in the Super Bowl after the ‘99 season, we had a big party to watch the game. We were at a girl from my high school’s house. There were about 50 people there. They had one room with a huge TV. I ended up watching the game in a room upstairs with about 5 other people on a tiny TV, but we were up there actually watching it.
I do remember running around from room to room during the last drive. After every play, people would run around and then we made everyone get back in the exact same spot before the next play. When Kevin Dyson got tackled one yard short, I just sat and stared at the TV for at least 20 minutes without saying a word.
Where is your favorite place to watch the Super Bowl?
