Daniel Jeremiah 2018 NFL mock draft 1.0

Interior line is a need, but in the first round??

We are in a weird place here at Music City Miracles. The Titans have a late first round pick. That hasn’t happened very often in my 12 years of running the site. It’s a good place to be.

Daniel Jeremiah of Move the Sticks fame has released his first mock draft of the 2018 NFL Draft season. He has the Titans taking James Daniels, OG/C, Iowa. Here were his comments on the pick:

Daniels is the best center prospect in the draft and I believe he could play guard if needed. I think you will see his stock soar over the next few months.

There is no doubt that interior offensive line is a need for the Titans. In fact, it might be the second biggest need besides EDGE (running back is also in the conversation), but do the Titans really address it in the first round? I don’t think they will.

How would you feel about this pick?
