Some good insight on potential Titans OC Ryan Day from Ryan Day

It’s time to get #HYPE#

Houston Texans v San Francisco 49ers

Here is an interview with potential Titans’ offensive coordinator Ryan Day:

My favorite quote from the interview is, “When you look at the film you have to look at it through the eyes of what your players can do...” That seems like such a simple thing, but that was the biggest complaint we all had about the Mike Mularkey/Terry Robiskie offense. They viewed things through their eyes instead of the eyes of their players.

I have seen a lot of people express concerns about Day as the OC because of his lack of experience. We don’t know much about what Day will be as an NFL OC, but we do know that he has worked under two of the most innovative offensive minds at the college level in Chip Kelly and Urban Meyer. He would bring some fresh ideas to the Titans’ offense.

Also, go read through Super Horn’s timeline on Twitter. He has some really good insight on how Day adapts his offense to the personnel that he has. That’s the type of OC we have all been dying for here!
