Unlike the biblical brothers, newly minted HC of the Titans Mike Vrabel and Ryan Day formerly of tOSU, are expected to team up in Nashville to bring along a new era of Titans football. Ryan day will most likely bring a power spread offense to the Titans, but the key with him is how he avoids being dogmatic. As SuperHorn brought up on Twitter, Day had an offense with leading rusher Andre Williams, who ran for 2,000 yards, and the next year, morphed the offense to fit the talent of Tyler Murphy the next year. Fitting the offense to the talent of the players sounds refreshing, right?
Courtesy of Trevor, we have this link which provides a little insight on Day and his use of tempo.
Cameron Wolfe writes that Vrabel was always Jon Robinson’s choice, as the two come from similar backgrounds. I think Mike will be the perfect CEO type head coach, and I cannot wait to see how the rest of his staff fills out.
