Jack Conklin tore his ACL in loss to Patriots

It will be an offseason for rehab for the Titans right tackle.

Mike Mularkey announced in his season-ending press conference that Titans right tackle Jack Conklin tore his ACL in the loss to the Patriots. He will have surgery in the coming days. The injury will probably keep him out until at least training camp.

The Titans saw last night that they need to sign a swing tackle this offseason. Dennis Kelly was really bad in relief last night. They can’t afford to find themselves in that situation again.

Mularkey also said that Jonnu Smith tore his MCL in the game. He should be ready for OTAs (which hopefully Mike Mularkey will not be around to run).

The Titans were very fortunate in the injury department during the 2017 season. You don’t normally get lucky there in back to back years. Maybe we can count these 2 injuries towards 2018 and the Titans have already hit their quota.

Oh, that’s not how it works? Oh well....
