ESPN reports Titans will run more no huddle against the Patriots

Do you believe it?

We have been clamoring for more no-huddle all season long. Will we actually see it tonight? That will be interesting to watch.

A lot of how they decide to run the offense should depend on how the game is going. If the Titans can jump out to a lead, I am all for them slowing the game to take advantage of a Patriots front 7 that isn’t very good and keep Tom Brady on the sideline. That’s not an approach I always love, but it would make sense in this one.

However, if they are playing from behind for most of the game, which is what I see happening, they will need to be in the no-huddle more. The key will be sustaining a drive in it. Last week they put together a 15 play drive that resulted in a touchdown primarily out of the no-huddle. That’s the best of both worlds, and it is probably what they are going to need in this one.
