Mike Mularkey said after practice today that Taylor Lewan twisted his ankle in practice. He is considered day-to-day. Aren’t we all? It goes without saying that the Titans need Lewan out there on Sunday. Dennis Kelly would play left tackle if Lewan can’t go, but Lewan is the type of guy that would have to be missing a limb to miss this game. I’d bet that he plays.
LeShaun Sims missed practice today with a groin injury. He is also considered day-to-day per Mularkey. Corner is another position where the Titans really cannot afford to be short handed. Adoree Jackson would step in and start on the outside if Sims isn’t able to go. That would be quite a welcome to the NFL moment having to face off against Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree.
I haven’t seen anything on the Raiders side as far as injuries are concerned yet. I will update this post when that information becomes available.
