Corey Davis missed the majority of training camp after injuring his hamstring. The 5th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft knows that there are big expectations on him. Davis told Jim Wyatt that he is eager to get out there and prove his worth:
“I’m ready to prove my worth any way possible,” Davis said. “I am ready to go out there and compete, and when I get out there I want to make the most of it. … My expectations are up there.”
Davis will probably see limited snaps against the Raiders. Hopefully he can make something big happen while he is out there.
The Titans play the Raiders in week 1 (in case you didn’t know). The Raiders are having a bit of a standoff with kicker Sebastian Janikowski. He has been their kicker since they drafted him in the first round back in 2000. It would be really weird if someone else is kicking for them at Nissan Stadium on Sunday.
Side note; it is really hard to find news to link to with the lack of quality coverage the Titans have right now.
