The Titans offensive line was great yesterday for the 2nd week in a row

NFL: Seattle Seahawks at Tennessee Titans Jim Brown-USA TODAY Sports

Remember two weeks ago when we were starting to worry about the Titans offensive line this season? It seems like months ago now after two dominating performances in a row. Just how dominating was yesterday’s perforamance? Here are some statistics courtesy of Pro Football Focus:

Titans QB Marcus Mariota was pressured on just two of his 37 dropbacks on Sunday, or 5.4 percent, by far the lowest pressure rate of any QB on Sunday.

The Titans offensive line allowed a single pressure against the Seahawks. Titans LT Taylor Lewan and RT Jack Conklin combined for 72 pass block snaps and zero pressures allowed, making them the only tackle duo to pitch a shutout in Sunday’s games.

And this from Pat Thorman:

Here’s the thing that makes all of this even better, these last 2 games have been against really good defenses. People were talking about this Seattle defense as being the best ever after they acquired Sheldon Richardson right before the season started, but the Titans just had their way with them.

Oh, and Richard Sherman is the biggest punk in the NFL, and the officials from yesterday’s game are even worse for letting him berate them for about 5 minutes with his helmet off without throwing a flag.
