It turns out that Taylor ran faster than any other player in the league yesterday on that play:

Mike Mularkey complimented Taylor on that play today at his press conference. Mularkey said that a lot of guys tend to look back too early on the go route and it slows them down and allows the DB to close. Taylor didn’t look back until the ball was in the air. He made a great catch.
There are SO MANY WEAPONS on this offense. Taylor made this play. Jonnu Smith took a screen pass to the house. Eric Decker picked up a big first down. Rishard Matthews took a huge hit and held on to the ball for a first down. You have all of that and we haven’t even scratched the surface on Corey Davis’s ability yet because of the hamstring injury.
