Titans-Jaguars Wednesday injury report

Jacksonville Jaguars v Tennessee Titans

Mike Mularkey said after practice today that Jurrell Casey, Wesley Woodyard, Tye Smith and Johnathan Cyprien all missed practice today. Casey has a lower back issue that Mularkey didn’t seem all that concerned about. It will obviously be something that we will keep an eye on as the week goes along.

Mularkey said Woodyard was sick and they sent him home. Smith has a broken hand that he might be able to play in a cast with. Mularkey said they will re-evaluate that on Friday. We already knew Cyrpien was going to miss a few weeks with a hamstring injury.

It goes without saying that the Titans really need to have both Casey and Woodyard in this game. Those are two of their better run stoppers, and stopping Leonard Fournette is going to be the key to winning this game on Sunday.

Mularkey also talked about the importance of winning division games on the road if you want to win the division. That is something the Titans haven’t been able to do over the last few years.
