This comes as no surprise, but Mike Mularkey said after practice today that Eric Decker won’t play in Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears. This offense really hasn’t been healthy during training camp. DeMarco Murray, Corey Davis and now Decker have all missed pretty significant time. In case you didn’t know, those are all guys that the Titans need to be good if they are going to accomplish their goals this season. Hopefully they are getting all of the bad injury luck out in the preseason.
Mularkey also gave a little bit of an update on Davis after practice. Davis has started running on some kind of fancy treadmill that takes stress off the lower body. Mularkey said the next step is for Davis to graduate to a regular treadmill. They will do another check on him after the game on Sunday.
Tonight I will be talking with Lester Wiltfong of Windy City Gridiron on MCM Radio. Let me know if there is anything you want me to ask about the Bears.
