Today is the Titans home opener! We get the first glance of football where the AFC Championship game will be played this January (hey, I can dream right?). I am not in love with the 2:00 kickoff, but they didn’t ask me.
The starters should get a little bit more run today. I would expect to see Marcus Mariota play through the first quarter, but that is purely speculation on my part. It would be nice to see the offense put together at least one nice drive today after not looking very good in limited action last week.
The defense gets a tougher test on the outside this week with guys like Kelvin Benjamin and Devin Funchess. Logan Ryan had a rough game last week. I predict he gets an interception in this game and we feel a lot better about him.
