Titans News!
The Titans held a joint practice with the Panthers yesterday, and Jim Wyatt has some notes for us from day 20 of training camp. Some things stood out to Wyatt from yesterday’s practice. Adoree’ Jackson was Wyatt’s defensive player of the day. Dude was out there making plays. A bunch of other players stood out to him as well. His “play of the day” was when Wesley Woodyard returned an interception (thrown by Joe Webb) for a touchdown. Wyatt’s “story of the day” is the amount of work Harry Douglas received with the first team yesterday, and on #InjuryWatch we have Decker who will likely be sitting out Saturday’s game due to a sprained ankle.
Quick Hit: Amy Adams Strunk attended a special 101st Airborne ceremony.
As noted: the Titans have been practicing with the Panthers this week, and Mariota feels the Titans will benefit from the work they got in with Carolina. Marcus says it’s a huge thing to get a different look, and a taste of a different defense, during practice. Mariota gives the Panthers’ defense props, and says that the team took things that they can learn from Carolina, and that is what is good about having a joint practice.
Quick Hit: “Don’t want to be labeled as a ‘Colin Kaepernick’.”
Bonus Hit: Mariota isn’t trying to imitate Cam Newton.
Bonus Bonus Hit: The Titans adjusted their practice schedule for a solar eclipse party.
That’s all for today. Happy reading!
