The biggest news that happened during yesterday’s practice was the signing of Corey Davis. Jim Wyatt said that at one point during practice Jon Robinson “sprinted inside” so the people on hand knew something was happening. Davis will be on the field today.
Wyatt also noted that Marcus Mariota was moving around well during practice. That was really the most important news we needed to get out of camp. He appears to be 100%. Now it will be interesting to see how much action he gets in the preseason.
Kuharsky got this video of Mariota:

You can’t read a recap of yesterday’s practice that doesn’t have a glowing review of Eric Decker’s first day with the team. The most important thing is that he looks healthy. I’m not saying Decker won’t be really good for this team because I think he will be, but keep in mind that veterans like Decker are always going to shine early in camp. Their legs are fresh, and they understand how to practice. Let’s keep an eye on how he holds up as the preseason rolls along.
Tajae Sharpe opened camp on the PUP list because of his injured foot. There hasn’t really been a timetable give for his return.
Kevin Dodd was on the practice field. That’s good news. Now we just need to seem him go all out after reports last season that he was still timid coming off the foot injury.
The Titans will be back on the field today at 2:40.
