If you could change the outcome of 1 game in Titans history, which game would it be?

Eddie George/Rob Burnett

We are just 8 days away from the opening of Titans training camp. That means we are just 8 days away from there actually being news to talk about. It is going to be a really fun year!

To pass the time, I stole a cool idea from our friends over at Pride of Detroit; If you could change the outcome of 1 game in Titans’ history, which game would it be? With one caveat, for the sake of this exercise, I am taking the Super Bowl loss to the Rams off the table. That is obviously the one everyone would pick. Let’s try to dig a little deeper.

There are plenty of games to choose from. The playoff loss to the Raiders following the 2002 season. The playoff loss to the Patriots following the 2003 season. The playoff loss to the 2008 season. The Titans had a legitimate chance to win the Super Bowl in each of those years.

But for me, the one I would change is the playoff loss to the Ravens following the 2000 season. The Titans were the best team in the league that year, but they made so many mistakes in that game that they weren’t able to overcome. There is no doubt in my mind they would have won the Super Bowl had they won that game.

Which game would you pick?
