WOAH!
You probably remember that there was a lot of debate about the top 3 receivers in the 2017 NFL Draft. We all knew the Titans were going to take a receiver in the first round, we just didn’t know which one it was going to be between Williams, Joe Ross and the best of all, the one they ended up taking, Corey Davis.
It always stinks to see a guy have an injury like this before he has even been able to play a game in the NFL. It also stinks for the Chargers who really needed Williams on the field this season (obviously considering they spent the 7th pick in the draft on him). They also have an aging quarterback in Philip Rivers who has a short window left. This limits the time Rivers and Williams will have on the field together.
Here’s to hoping Williams makes a full recovery.
