Eagles waive Dorial Green-Beckham

Remember last summer when people criticized Jon Robinson for “only” getting Dennis Kelly in return for Dorial Green-Beckham? Well, per usual, Robinson knew what he was doing. It is being reported today that the Eagles have cut DGB.

It always breaks my heart a little bit to see a guy like DGB waste his talent. He has so much God-given ability but isn’t willing to put the work in to realize his potential. There are so many guys that would give anything to have his physical attributes.

Green-Beckham will probably catch on with another team this summer because someone else will fall in love with the ability. Will the release today serve as a wake-up call he needs to finally lock in and put in the work? Only time will tell, but Robinson was wise to see early on that having DGB on this roster would only serve as a distraction.
