The stars seem aligned for this one...

Lambert told you earlier that Eric Decker was in town visiting with the Titans today. It was then reported later on Twitter that Decker watched today’s Titans practice from the sidelines with Jon Robinson.

Jason Wolf later reported (apparently first, MIRACLES DO HAPPEN!!!1) that Decker left the facility without a contract.

Mike Mularkey had this to say about Decker’s visit today:

“We brought him in and I talked to him this morning for about 25 minutes and got a chance to meet him. I never met him,” Titans coach Mike Mularkey said. “Similar to our draft, when you do the top 30 visits. Similar situation. Get a chance to meet him and do a physical.”

Obviously the number one question with Decker is health. If the Titans were happy with the results of the physical, there are probably contract negotiations that are underway right now. We could see something happen as early as this evening.
