Jets are releasing Eric Decker, per source. With other teams wanting NY to eat some Decker salary, NY could not make numbers work for trade.

Last week we talked about the Titans possibly being interested in Eric Decker. I said in that post that Decker had been released. I was not correct there, but he has been now apparently according to Adam Schefter. That means he is free to sign with whoever he wants.
There was talk in that post about Jeremy Maclin also being available and who we would rather the Titans sign. Well that is a moot point today as Maclin signed a 2-year deal with the hated Baltimore Ravens earlier today.
There has also been somewhat of a new wrinkle here with the injury to Tajae Sharpe. He is supposed to be ready for training camp, but I think that a healthy Decker is still an upgrade over a healthy Sharpe. I know there are a lot of people that don’t believe that to be the case, but those people are wrong.
