Titans open as an underdog against the Raiders

Our good friends at Bovada, for recreational purposes only, has sent out the week 1 lines. The Titans open as a 1 ¹⁄₂ point underdog at home against the Oakland Raiders. We all know that is complete crap and that the Titans are going 16-0.

I will be really interested to see the total for this game when it is released. Both teams feature offenses with a lot of weapons and good, young quarterbacks. It should be a game that the NFL markets the crap out of.

This is going to be an interesting season in Tennessee. We already know that Vegas has set the Titans win over/under at 9.5. That has to be the highest May total for this team since the days of Steve McNair.

If I were a betting man, I might just call up my favorite bookie and put some money down on the Titans here. The Titans had the Raiders beat last year before the terrible OPI call on Andre Johnson, and that was before the Titans had COREY DAVIS!!!1.
