Tre McBride is proud of his military ties. He grew up in the military (hey! me too!), and recently watched his father, Col. Douglas M. McBride, get promoted to brigadier general at Fort Hood Army base out in Texas. McBride says he has a lot of respect for everyone in the military, and the sacrifices they make. He also says that he was raised with the same morals and values that the Army carries, and he is thankful for that.
Quick Hit: Titans yielding city: Nashville is Smashville for Stanley Cup finals
Jace Amaro is working to improve his run blocking. He was most likely snagged off waivers last season thanks to his catching ability, but Amaro quickly found out that blocking is also a big deal when it comes to playing tight end for the Titans. Amaro said he is feeling a lot better about blocking, and that it just took him some time. He said he is doing a lot of end line blocking, and tight ends coach Arthur Smith is doing a great job teaching him the fundamentals on that.
Quick Hit: Mariota makes his "Top 100" debut at number 50.
That's all for today. Happy reading!
