Titans Links!
DERRICK HENRY WATCH IS OVER! He somehow managed to roll out of bed, and showed up to a mandatory voluntary practice! Running backs coach Sylvester Croom said that he looked great, is moving well, and seems to be in very good shape. Croom also touched on seventh round draft pick Khalfani Muhammad. He says the addition of Muhammad gives the group a "change-of-pace" back, and says he is smaller and more elusive than the other guys that are returning from last season.
Quick Hit: Derrick Henry "moving forward" with the Titans.
Noticed anything different during the draft this year? No? Give up? For the first time since 2005: the Titans did not draft a defensive lineman. Paul Kuharsky says that one of the questions going into the draft was how much do the Titans value the defensive lineman they already have on the roster? Apparently they showed they are very happy with the group. Mularkey said they felt they were set at that position when it became time for them to pick. And Jon Robinson said that the signing of Sylvester Williams allowed them to feel the defensive line was one of the team's "stronger groups" going into the draft.
Quick Hit: Mariota is excited about what happened at the draft.
That's all for today. Happy reading!
