Corey Davis was the big name receiver the Titans drafted in the first round, but let's not forget about Taywon Taylor. Taylor was drafted in the third round, and he is wanting to make an early mark with the Titans. Taylor says he told the coach that he wants to come in and be a guy that is on the field his rookie year, and that he expects to make some plays. He plans to learn the playbook as fast as he can, and that one of his goals is to help the team early. Davis says he likes the way Taylor plays, and that he has great swagger. I'm seriously so excited to see the two of these guys play. So much excite!
Quick Hit: The Titans added five players to the roster.
Mularkey wants to get to know the "no-names" on the team. Some coaches believe they don't need to get to know the new and unfamiliar faces' names until they have done something worth being recognized for, but Mularkey isn't one of those coaches. He uses a sheet with pictures of the new players on it to better learn who they are. He says that it is important to him, and that he wants the players to know that he cares about them.
That's all for today. Happy reading!
