Titans Links!
The gathering of the rookies has begun! Today is actually the first day of Rookie minicamp. Huzzah! Among those rookies are quarterback Tyler Ferguson, and wide receiver Taywan Taylor. Both know each other pretty well thanks to being teammates at Western Kentucky. Ferguson joins the team as an undrafted free agent, and Taylor was snagged in the third round of this year's draft. Taylor should be in a good position to make a big first impression though. Especially with having some familiarity with Ferguson.
Quick Hit: Titans agree to terms with 12 undrafted free agents.
Jim Wyatt caught up with Wesley Woodyard while palling around on the Titans Caravan. He gives us three topics the two of them discussed. They talked about the new faces on defense, and Woodyard says the new additions fit in nicely. He said a lot of the guys are coming in from winning organizations, and they want to help build something there in Tennessee. Woodyard says practices will be competitive, and that a lot of that competition will be in the OTAs. Finally, Woodyard talks about how the team just wants to be better. He says missing the playoffs hurt a lot, but that the team is ready to work harder this year, and are not going to just be comfortable with how they finished last season.
Quick Hit: The Titans won the draft for the AFC South.
That's all for today. Happy reading!
