Titans Links!
The draft has ended. To finish the draft; the Titans drafted the following players:
Receiver Taywan Taylor in the 3rd round.
Tight End Jonnu Smith in the 3rd round.
Linebacker Jayon Brown in the 5th round.
Offensive Lineman Corey Levin in the 6th round.
Outside Linebacker Josh Carraway in the 7th round.
Offensive Lineman Brad Seaton in the 7th round.
Running Back Khalfani Muhammed in the 7th round.
Quite the offensive haul. Paul Kuharsky analyzes each pick made by the Titans. The Titans used the draft and some of the off-season last year to protect Mariota, and now it appears they used this year's draft to get Mariota some weapons in the offense. Davis in the first and then Taylor and Smith in the 3rd. I have a feeling this offense is going to be fun to watch next season. Still, Kuharsky asks (as do others): Did the Titans come out of the draft with enough depth at cornerback? The Titans will have Adoree' Jackson, Logan Ryan, Brice McCain, LeShaun Sims, Kalen Reed, and D'Jonn Smith to start the season.
Quick Hit: Adoree' Jackson's world-class leaping ability started with a Fisher-Price hoop.
Mel "The Hair" Kiper and Todd McShay analyzed the Titans' draft picks. Kiper says that the Titans aim was to help out Mariota, and they did. Both Kiper and McShay said they liked what the Titans did in the draft. McShay said he thought Davis was a bit of a reach when he was first selected, but he wasn't seeing the big picture, and felt the Titans were right to snag him when they did since the other big 2 receivers came off the board soon after.
Quick Hit: Trade value charts like the moves the Titans made.
That's all for today. Happy reading!
