So 6-1 odds that Richard Sherman is a Tennessee Titans when it’s all said and done. I’m torn on this — being that Sherman is 29 years old and not exactly the player he once was. But the bottomline here is that the Titans don’t have anyone on their roster close to his talent.
I think he’s a band-aid, but he could throw the Titans defense over the top for at least a couple of seasons. The problem is this — what is it going to take to land Sherman? The Titans have two first round selections, but I wouldn’t give up either of them for a corner pushing 30.
I’d happily give up one of the Titans two third round picks, but I doubt that gets the deal done. Sherman is there for the taking though, and Jon Robinson has the ammo to go get him.
Would you pull the trigger?
