Team Hooker!

Dan Kadar, who will be joining us on tonight’s MCM Radio, put out a new mock draft yesterday. I am very pleased to announce that he has joined #TeamHooker with Terry and me. The Hooker train is leaving the station. You better jump on!

OK, enough of that. Here is what Dan had to say about the Titans taking Malik Hooker, S, Ohio State with the 5th pick:

This pick has always been Marshon Lattimore, but Hooker hasn’t been available in most mock drafts. He gives Tennessee the type of coverage safety they just don’t have with Jonathan Cyprien and Da’Norris Searcy. Hooker has unreal range and should be a star in the NFL.

He left Kevin Byard out of the equation there, but hey, he shouldn’t keep the Titans from adding Hooker.

Lambert examined Hooker’s fit with the Titans here.

Kadar has the Titans taking Mike Williams, WR, Clemson with the 18th pick:

This could be Williams or John Ross of Washington. Williams obviously doesn’t offer the same type of speed threat as Ross, but he’s the better all-around player. He is a physical wide receiver coming off a season of 1,361 yards and 11 touchdowns and should continue the growing line of good NFL receivers from Clemson that includes DeAndre Hopkins and Sammy Watkins.

I would be ecstatic with this draft. Would you?
