The second round of the draft kicks off tonight at 6 PM central. Teams will have 7 minutes to make their picks in the second round and 5 minutes to make picks in the third round and following. The Titans don’t currently hold a pick in the 2nd round. That means it could be as late as 11 before the Titans make their first pick.

Last night Terry looked at the best players remaining on the board. We will try to reset that at the end of the second round because a lot of these players will be gone when the Titans are finally on the clock again.

You can also check out this post where I outlined what needs the Titans have remaining. What do you think their biggest need is after adding Corey Davis and Adoree’ Jackson in the first round last night.

Hang out here with us all night. We are going to have a running commentary on the players as they are selected- adding in information about how it affects what the Titans might do when applicable.

Tracking the draft picks as they happen:

2nd Round

Round 2 pick 33- Green Bay Packer select Kevin King, CB, Washington

King was the best corner left on the board. The Titans are probably rooting for some corners to slide down the board. I don’t think they’d be opposed to taking another one tonight.

Round 2 pick 34- TRADE Jacksonville Jaguars (from Seahawks) select Cam Robinson, OT, Alabama

Another guy that is a nice value...assuming he can stay out of trouble off the field.

Round 2 pick 35- Seattle Seahawks (from Jaguars) select Malik McDowell, DL, Michigan State

The Seahawks finally made a pick!! McDowell is another guy that some had going in the first round. A good defense gets better.

Round 2 pick 36- TRADE Arizona Cardinals (from Bears) select Budda Baker, S, Washington

The Cardinals gave up 3 picks to move up and select Baker. There are going to be A LOT of DBs picked tonight.

Round 2 pick 37- ANOTHER TRADE Buffalo Bills (from Rams) select Zay Jones, WR, East Carolina

No surprise that Jones is the next receiver off the board. The Bills needed a WR after all 3 first rounders went before they got on the clock last night.

Round 2 pick 38- Los Angeles Chargers select Forrest Lamp, OL, Western Kentucky

Jason Wolf’s boy gets selected just a couple of picks after Wolf predicted.

Round 2 pick 39- New York Jets select Marcus Maye, S, Florida

The Jets have taken a safety with each of their first two picks (Jamal Adams in the first round). The run on defensive backs continues.

Round 2 pick 40- Carolina Panthers select Curtis Samuel, WR, Ohio State

The Panthers were bad on offense last year. They are giving Cam Newton a lot of weapons to work with this year.

Round 2 pick 41- TRADE Minnesota Vikings (from Bengals) select Dalvin Cook, RB, Florida State

Adrian Peterson is gone, so this pick fills a need. It’s good value as a lot of people were projecting Cook to be a first round pick.

Round 2 pick 42- New Orleans Saints select Marcus Williams, S, Utah

ALL OF THE DEFENSIVE BACKS!!!11

Round 2 pick 43- Philadelphia Eagles select Sidney Jones, CB, Washington

Huge upside/risk with this pick. I was really hoping he would fall to the Titans at 83.

Round 2 pick 44- Los Angeles Rams select Gerald Everette, TE, South Alabama

John Robinson really doesn’t want a run on tight ends to start here....

Round 2 pick 45- Chicago Bears select Adam Shaheen, TE, Ashland

Welp....

Round 2 pick 46- Indianapolis Colts select Quincy Wilson, CB, Florida

I don’t think there has been a cornerback selected yet that wasn’t mocked to the Titans at some point. Wilson is no exception. Lambert hates him because he went to Florida.

Round 2 pick 47- Baltimore Ravens select Tyus Bower, OLB, Houston

Dude got in a fight with a teammate and lost. Is there a dirtier division in football than the AFC North?

Round 2 pick 48- Cincinnati Bengals select Joe Mixon, RB, Oklahoma

Undraftable. I don’t care how good of a player he is.

Round 2 pick 49- Washington Redskins select Ryan Anderson, OLB, Alabama

Anderson is a really good football player. He probably won’t be a star, but he will be solid for a long time.

Round 2 pick 50- Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Justin Evans, S, Texas A&M

We told you for months this was an extremely deep DB class.

Round 2 pick 51- Denver Broncos pick DeMarcus Walker, EDGE, Florida State

A lot of defensive players being picked tonight after the run on offense last night.

Round 2 pick 52- Cleveland Browns select DeShone Kizer, QB, Notre Dame

THEY FINALLY DRAFTED A QUARTERBACK!!!!!11

Round 2 pick 53- Detroit Lions select Teez Tabor, CB, Florida

Another defensive back that was mocked to the Titans at one point. He slow!

Round 2 pick 54- Miami Dolphins select Raekwon McMillan, ILB, Ohio State

That’s a great name.

Round 2 pick 55- New York Giants select Dalvin Tomlinson, DL, Alabama

When in doubt, go with a defensive player from Bama!

Round 2 pick 56- Oakland Raiders select Obi Melifonwu, S, UConn

DEEP.DB.CLASS.

Round 2 pick 57- Houston Texans select Zach Cunnigham, ILB, Vanderbilt

Cunnignham is a good. I don’t like it when the other teams in the AFC South get good players.

Round 2 pick 58- Seattle Seahawks select Ethan Pocic, OL, LSU

The Seahawks offensive line was brutal last season. Good pick here.

Round 2 pick 59- Kansas City Chiefs select Tanoh Kpassagnon, DE, Villanova

Man I’m glad the Titans didn’t take that guy. I’m not sure I could ever learn to spell his name.

Round 2 pick 60- Dallas Cowboys select Chidobe Awuzie, CB, Colorado

This is another pick that feels like a really good value. A lot of people had Awuzie going in the first.

Round 2 pick 61- Green Bay Packers select Josh Jones, S, North Carolina State

It is truly amazing how many defensive backs are getting picked tonight.

Round 2 pick 62- Pittsburgh Steelers select JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, USC

JuJu was a guy that I had a draft crush on back in August. He will be really good in that offense.

Round 2 pick 63- TRADE Buffalo Bills (from Falcons) select Deon Dawkins, DL, Temple

Round 2 pick 64- Carolina Panthers select Taylor Morton, OT, Western Michigan

Obviously most famous for being Corey Davis’s teammate.

3rd Round

Round 3 pick 65- Cleveland Brown select Larry Ogunjobi, DT, Charlotte

Round 3 pick 66- San Francisco 49ers select Ahkello Witherspoon, CB, Colorado

Round 3 pick 67- New Orleans Saints select Alvin Kamara, RB, Tennessee

Round 3 pick 68- Jacksonville Jaguars select Dawuane Smoot, DE, Illinois

Round 3 pick 69- Los Angeles Rams select Cooper Kupp, WR, Eastern Washington

Round 3 pick 70- Minnesota Vikings select Pat Elflein, C, Ohio State

Round 3 pick 71- Los Angeles Chargers select Dan Freeny, G, Indiana

Round 3 pick 72- Tennessee Titans select Taywn Taylor, WR, Western Kentucky

Round 3 pick 73- Cincinnati Bengals select Jordan Willis, DE, Kansas State

Round 3 pick 74- Baltimore Ravens select Chris Wormley, DT, Michigan

Round 3 pick 75- Atlanta Falcons select Duke Riley, ILB, LSU

Round 3 pick 76- New Orleans Saints select Alex Anzalone, ILB, Florida

Round 3 pick 77- Carolina Panthers select Daeshon Hall, DE, Texas A&M

Round 3 pick 78- Baltimore Ravens select Tim Williams, OLB, Alabama

Round 3 pick 79- New York Jets select ArDarius Stewart, WR, Alabama

Round 3 pick 80- Indianapolis Colts select Tarell Basham, DE, Ohio

Round 3 pick 81- Washington Redskins select Fabian Washington, CB, UCLA

Round 3 pick 82- Denver Broncos select Carlos Henderson, WR, Louisiana Tech

Round 3 pick 83- New England Patriots select Derek Rivers, OLB, Youngstown State

Round 3 pick 85- New England Patriots select Antonio Garcia, OT, Troy

Round 3 pick 86- Kansas City Chiefs select Kareem Hunt, RB, Toledo

Round 3 pick 87- New York Giants select Davis Webb, QB, California

Round 3 pick 88- Oakland Raiders select Eddie Vanderdoes, DT, UCLA
