The NFL draft rolls on tonight with rounds 2 and 3. The Titans don’t currently have a second round pick. Teams went crazy for the quarterbacks last night and left Jon Robinson no real options for a trade. That is just the way it goes sometimes.
Lance Zierlein has published a mock draft this morning for the second and third rounds. He has the Titans going with DeMarcus Walker, DE, Florida State at pick #83 and Duke Riley, LB, LSU with pick #100. Those would be two solid players in the third round that could step in and help this defense right away. They both also fill some of the remaining needs the Titans have that we looked at last night.
Tim Williams, EDGE, Alabama went 81st in this mock. It would be pretty tempting to move up and grab him. Sure, there are off the field issues with Williams, but man that guy can wreck a passing game.
